Before starting to talk about statistics, I think it's interesting to see a practical example, and the hands of Carles speak for themselves on the number of consecutive days of wind. 
In this graph we see the daily maximum wind in Pozo Izquierdo during July and August the past four years, data collected by the meteorological station of Cutre.
