Another award for Philip Köster


The canarian rider has been awarded by german SURF magazine as surfer of the year. Köster was nominated together with other windsurf World Champions as Antoine Albeau, Björn Dunkerbeck, or Steven van Broeckhoven.

Racing Blade 2012: wordless

Today we have had the chance to sail for the first time the new 2012 Loftsails 2012 which were in the bag for the past couple of weeks waiting for conditions.

Here are some photos and a short video taken during the session at Bahía de Formas in Gran Canaria. To the point: speed, acceleration and on top of all stability. Now we know why these sails are becoming so popular within the racers.

Racing Blades “slicing” at Brazil

Today we learned that these blades are having such a demand that sales are going over the roof. We already have ours and you will see them soon in the water.

Big day in Jaws!

The first swell of 2012 has arrived to Hawai very soon: the fourth of january. Riders as Kai Lenny, Marcilio Brown, Jason Polakow, Levi Siver or Francisco Goya were there to ride more than 10 meters waves with their surf and windsurf board. Here you have the video!

So long Harold Iggy, Robby Naish’s shaper

Harold Iggy, Robby’s shaper for 30 years, passed away at the age of 70 from a heart attack a few days ago while paddle surfing at Kailua Bay.

You can see a photo album and Robby’s message in his facebook.

Jesper Orth (AUS-10) starts the year with a marathon

Racer Jesper ORTH (AUS-10), member of the F2 team, starts the year wining the WA Surf Mandurah Marathon. A 42 km race with reaching legs of 7 km.

The race took place with 15-20 knot winds and smooth water. Jesper sailed an F2 SX 135l and a 7.9 sail.
