On 4 September, L’Hydroptere broke the speed sailing record, in fact broke two records, the nautical mile, sailing at an average speed of 48.72 knots, and the 500 meters, with an average of 51.30 knots, smashing the previous and breaking the mythical 50 knots barrier.
By the way, Anders Bringdal (well known among windsurfers) was one of the crew members.
