Patrik quits North and goes LoftSails

Loft Sails is happy to announce Patrik Diethelm (ITA 120) as a new International Team member for the next racing season, joining forces with the rest of our International Team. It is the first time in 10 years that Patrik changes his sails sponsor, surely his experience and innovative vision will be an added value for Loft Sails.

Streamlined: carbon extension prototype

A few days ago we received a carbon extension prototype from Streamlined USA. After we got green light from them we publish a few photos… we cannot transmit with them the extreme lightness of the piece. Stop by the shop and check out by yourself.

Cutre Windsurf Center is in conjunction with HT Maui testing center for Streamlined USA equipment. We are the only ones to receive these prototypes for their final testing prior to market launch of the 2012 line of products. As soon as we have conditions we will test this extension to the limit.

• Secret: The 2012 final model has a surprise which does not appear in the photo, as the manufacturer wants to keep it confidential until de last minute to avoid other brands from copying.

LoftSails 2012: first photos

Here are some of the first photos of the PureLip 2012 from LoftSails... ours/yours are about to arrive... by the way for those of you who ordered in purple... I think we can confirm how nice and elegant they are.

Interesting, isn't it? We watched it on Sylt. But, as it will be quite difficult to get one, come to Cutre and you will learn step by step how to do it. We first record you, then we explain the manouvre step by step. Afterwards we go together on the water and we practice together until you get it.

Still no wrinkles...

Here's a picture we took the other day at Bahía de Formas of a forward loop by Juan Enrique Ureña riding the F2 Barracuda Quad 92L and a LoftSails Lipwave... we continue to be stoked with the dynamic performace and design of the sail... which shows zero wrinkles... does your sail show wrinkles while sailing?

And the wind says "stop"

After 4 months blowing without interrumption, the wind has completely dropped. The wind mills have stopped and the flags are down. But do not worry...on thursday the wind  is coming back...and while we can use our Stand Up Paddles.
