Gollito wins the single elimination
The ones who saw him windsurfing in Pozo Izquierdo after the World Cup, won't be surprised to know Gollito just won the first freestyle single elimination in Fuerteventura.p>

Antoine wins in Fuerteventura
Non stop action for the PWA competitors during the Canarian leg of the World Tour, I don’t think I’m wrong if I say they don’t windsurf as much anywhere in the world as in the Canary Islands, 10 slaloms completed in Fuerteventura left no space for surprise and Antoine Albeau ended the highest on the podium.
Right now the freestyle competitors are on the water, about to finish the first single elimination, so if you want to follow all the freestyle action or watch all the great pictures from the slalom taken by John Carter: PWA

Gran blanco
The “Cardiff Kook” was victim of a shark attack early this morning.
The famous sculpture have been recieving all kind of “interventions” during the years, but I think this is the most creative of all of them. By the way it’s build, papier-mache with a wooden structure, reminds me Las Fallas, from Valencia, was maybe someone from Valencia (Spain) missing his biggest “fiesta”?

The king of the rock
Will be difficult to deffeat Nelson as the star of the summer in Pozo Izquierdo, he was already known for his peculiar jibing style and for throwing the sail a la Robby Naish, while waveriding, but last Tuesday he went over the rock in low tide, that will be hard to beat.
By the way, don't event think of laughing, the rock and the bunker are always there, and any of us could be the next one.

Strange days
After two days with really strong winds, yesterday we had such a warm day here in Pozo Izquierdo and the wind nearly died. This morning was warm and glassy, but before noon the air was fresh and the wind was blowing strong again, so right now we have some great (strong) windsurfing conditions in Pozo again.
